Assembled and coated for, this is a full size rapid prototype model of the rear of a new car for one of the UK’s most prestigious GT car manufacturers.

We assembled approx 50 individual rapid prototype parts together and mounted to a wheeled structure at the correct car height. This allowed internal fit of upholstery and wiring to be mocked up and checked for errors.

To give the assembly some more rigidity and longevity external faces that were non critical in this instance have been over bonded with a thin GRP laminate.
